About me
Naya (Ny-yuh) Shelton is a bold, influential visionary who isn’t afraid of taking risks. With the vision of becoming a fashion designer at two years old, fashion was her first language. Currently, she is a student at Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts (VCUarts), majoring in Fashion Merchandising and minoring in Media Studies. While still an undergrad, she’s obtaining an M.S. in Business with a concentration in Marketing Management. While at VCUarts, Naya has gained an understanding of fashion forecasting, fashion branding, technical prowess, supervision and management, and retail buying. In December 2023-2024, Naya will obtain her B.A. in Fashion and M.S. in Business.
Her inspiration derives from the people surrounding her and her love for fashion. Her interests include styling, editing, designing, and branding. She loves how an outfit can tell a story.
My mission is to create opportunities and live a life worth remembering by being authentic and divine.

My Accomplishments
In 2013 & 2014, I won the Top Model title at National American Miss Pageant.
In 2019, I was an extra on the Apple TV series Swagger and was featured in episode 1.
In 2020, I graduated #5 of my high school class.
In 2022, I started to obtain a master's in Business with a concentration in Marketing Management while still an undergraduate.
